Believe in Feelings?

Believe in feelings? Yes I do;
My faith is more than fact.
An intellect, emotions too,
And I've a will to act.

Unless I feel, I'll never act;
No battles shall I win;
God make me sensitive and wise
To conquer over sin.

For passions are a lot like fire:
They can be good or bad;
Controlled, they warm; but wild they spoil—
Make desolate and sad.

I read that "God so loved the world;"
That's feeling, if you please;
This made Him act at so great cost,
To give us life that frees. .

The God of light, of joy, of peace,
Of love, and self-control,
Where He abides, there's hope and calm
Within the heart and soul.

O let me then respond to Him¬
My love a fervent flame;
I'll share with others of His grace.
And glorify His name.
