Oh, What a Moment!
In one glad moment, at one great dawn,
a sight all glorious to look upon;
our Lord and Saviour shall come again
to take His bride home with Him to reign.
Our troubled spirits, our longing eyes
are peering out on those brazen skies
but through our weeping we still can see
that future morn that shall set us free.
When we behold Him in clouds of light
our faith so falt’ring shall turn to sight;
changed in a moment, in garments white,
with our Redeemer we’ll take our flight.
To be with Jesus on that blest shore—
how could our unworthy hearts ask more?
His grace unending will us enthrall,
one moment there will be worth it all.
Refrain
Oh, what a moment! Oh, what a day!
When all the myst’ries be rolled away.
And in His brightness our Lord we’ll see,
oh, what a morning His child to be!
And in his likeness transformed to be,
oh, glorious dawning, oh, victory!
