For those of you who subscribed to the daily poem, thank you! As the editor, I want to update you on what's coming. The end is in sight.
I'm nearing the bottom of the stack of Frank's loose papers, leaflets, tracts, booklets and printed copies of the collected poetry and musical works of Frank P. Nickel. There are still several Thanksgiving and Christmas-themed poems and songs yet to be published here. You will receive these closer to the holidays.
Over the next while, I will link available digital audio tracks of songs from the Nickel Family Singers record albums to the corresponding lyrics and re-share those with daily subscribers.
If you click on the title of this entry ("Not Quite as Daily"), it will take you to the website where all the poems have been published. Feel free to browse the archives. You can search by subject, date or keywords, or go to the beginning and read poems consecutively. There are more than 200 so far. Check out the file tabs at the top of the page, describing Frank's publications, the Nickel Family record albums and more.
In the meantime, thank you for continuing with My Father's Poems as we move to less frequent posts.
I know my father would be grateful that God is using these written witnesses of his life and faith to be of encouragement to so many.
