All the Way My Savior Leads Me

All the way my Savior leads me,
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.

All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living Bread.
Though my weary steps may falter
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.

All the way my Savior leads me,
Oh, the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.

The Great Choice

The pleasures of sin for a season
or the joys of salvation so grand?
Oh, how will you wish to have chosen
when at last in God’s presence you stand?

The world with its riches and glory—
however enchantingly sweet—
when death comes, will offer no comfort
but mock with a hasty retreat.

Today you may have the assurance:
your sins have been taken away
and your name is recorded in heaven,
fair land of the unending day.

Chorus:
In the light of eternity, answer.
Why trifle with God and your soul?
Choose now, as you’ll wish to have chosen
while the years of eternity roll!

Peace Like a River

Words and music by C.D. Davis

Peace like a river
Flows through my soul
I've been forgiven
Cleansed and made whole

Chorus:
Peace like a river so gently is flowing
How sweet to my soul is this marvelous peace
Sweeter and sweeter each day it is growing
Like billows of glory it never shall cease

Filled with the spirit
I am so happy
Jesus has given
Wonderful peace

Peace gently flowing
Sweet and divine
Gives the assurance
Jesus is mine

Tag:
Glory forever to Jesus my Savior
For wonderful, marvelous, heavenly peace
Peace overflowing much sweeter is growing
What wonderful, wonderful peace

Recorded by the Nickel Family Singers on LP 365: My Sheep Know My Voice, side one.

Reality

Lord, I want reality!—
Sure that I’ve been born again,
victory over self and sin
fellowship in prayer, and when
I read your Holy Word.
Self-control in health and gain,
peace of mind in loss or pain,
power to witness, sun or rain.—
Yes, Lord, I want reality!
